Office design trends: what AI says
12.03.2025
Dashka decided to keep up with the trend and asked the all-knowing AI what is currently popular in office spaces. And AI produced some basics (for me, these are really the basics, not the fancy trends π )
– Space flexibility. Modular furniture and adaptive layouts allow you to quickly reconfigure your office to fit your team’s constantly changing needs.
– Biophilic design. The use of natural materials, plants and natural light creates an inspiring and calming atmosphere for greater productivity.
– Eco-friendliness. Offices are becoming increasingly sustainable, using materials such as recycled wood, low VOC paints and eco-textiles.
– Integration of smart technology. Automation systems for lighting, temperature and ventilation control create an optimal microclimate, taking into account the individual preferences of employees.
– Acoustic solutions. The use of sound-absorbing materials such as acoustic panels, green walls and carpets helps to reduce noise levels.
– A focus on health and well-being. Ergonomic chairs with lumbar support, standing desks and air filtration systems are becoming standard elements of offices.
– Comfort and aesthetics. Combining the cozy atmosphere of home with the functionality of the workspace helps create a comfortable environment.
– Common areas. Specially designated areas are designed to bring employees together, promote communication and teamwork.
βοΈI agree with one thing for sure: hotelization of the working environment is rapidly gaining momentum, and this is, of course, great. There’s just one question: is it Covid that has accustomed us to the couch, or are employers so ready to do anything to retain their employees because of employment crisis? π #thoughts_out loud
